High-tech focus of cooling fans catalogue helps designers

With over 200 models of DC fans and blowers and 50 AC varieties, Papst's latest catalogue features a new 15 page section on 'fan intelligence' options. The section incorporates diagrammatic data on the range of sensor and alarm signal options along with details of 'VarioPro', the company's latest, programmable, fan technology.

Aimed at high-tech industrial and consumer electronic applications, the document is more than just a catalogue; it is an easy to use, information rich, reference guide to Papst products for engineers involved in the critical area of electronics cooling.

New product introductions include 25mm subminiature fans and 127mm fans featuring DV (diagonal venturi) technology for densely packed high pressure/high airflow applications.

Again making designers' jobs easier, at the back of the catalogue are details of a standard range of accessories including metal and plastic finger guards, connecting leads, fixings and mountings. For those whose needs are non-standard, the company also provides a separate guide to customised cooling solutions for applications requiring control & monitoring, interconnections, fixings and metal work.
